In reply to Afrolatinagirl. I just purchased a home in the neighborhood. We need Costco, Trader Joe, Total Wine, Target, Salad & Go and nice bars and restaurants to go to. These things will determine how much I invest in my home or how long I stay.

In reply to Debbie. Debbie, Many people in Laveen have agreed with you in various news articles and definitely on the Facebook pages. Everyone would like to see more diversity among the businesses that are coming into the area. Personally, I would like to see more unique locally owned businesses open as well. We do not need anymore fast foods. We need stores like sprouts, trader joes, red lobster, red robin, costco, sams club, craft stores like michaels, nice furnitue store, etc I dine snd shop in mesa or tempe because there is nothing in Laveen. Would be nice to shop closer to home and see our economy boosted here.

Where are the REAL places to dine at!? How many burger,pizza, sub places do you need in one area. We NEED an Ihop, whole foods, costco, sams, 31 flavors,charlestons…..you know, places to dine like the other class of people have. We in this community are worthy to have nice /healthy choices like everyone else. The southside has changed…wake up people!!!!

The parking in that area is very limited right now with just the LA Fitness members. I agree parking is going to be a disaster!
