One of Laveen’s most beloved traditions is right around the corner and Find It In Laveen is proud to sponsor BBQ Bingo for the second year in a row at the 74th Annual Laveen BBQ. If you have never attended this iconic event or participated in BBQ Bingo before, this is the year to do it.
The Laveen BBQ takes place on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, at Cesar Chavez Park, running from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission and parking are free and the event is packed with great food, live music, games and local vendors. This year also includes a FREE FunZone for all ages, making it an easy win for families.
A tradition rooted in community
Since 1952, the Laveen BBQ has brought neighbors together for a day of connection and celebration. What makes this event truly special is that it is 100 percent community-run, powered by volunteers, local nonprofits and small businesses that care deeply about Laveen.
The return of the traditional Pit BBQ is made possible thanks to the support of Corona Ranch, AZ Barbecue Catering and the AZ Pork Council. The Laveen Community Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, continues to lead the charge in keeping this treasured tradition alive.
What is BBQ Bingo?
BBQ Bingo is designed to make the vendor area even more fun and interactive. When attendees visit participating booths, they receive stickers to place on their bingo cards. Once they complete five in a row, they are eligible for prizes. Fully completed cards are automatically entered for grand prizes as well.
Prize drawings happen every hour, starting at noon and ending at 4 p.m. Winners must be present to claim their prizes, which range from small swag items to larger prize bundles donated by local businesses.
To help things run smoothly this year, bingo cards will be distributed at the entry gate, with a limit of two cards per family. This ensures more people get a chance to play and explore everything the BBQ has to offer.
Also, don’t miss out on the chance to purchase spots for $75, these will be randomly distributed across the bingo cards!
Opportunities for businesses and nonprofits
BBQ Bingo is also a powerful way for local businesses to drive traffic to their booths. For 2026, there are two participation options:
- $125 premium spots that guarantee placement on all bingo card versions
- $75 standard spots that are randomly distributed across cards
These spots are selling quickly, with only a few premium placements remaining.
Nonprofits are encouraged to reach out for discount options. Businesses that are unable to host a booth can still participate by donating prizes. All prize donors will be recognized on the back of every bingo card, including their logo.
